|What I really "own"
is the space inside my head. No one can touch it. . It felt so nice tonight, the movie you introduced me to, you. They talk, they talk. About what isn't going on. What will my friends think? ;)

|Advice from a friend
"One trick to relationships....
Life-long ones do not usually happen suddenly into full blossom overnight. She MIGHT come back, but if not then she is not the right person for you.
Life-long relationships can be other than lover ones. You can have ex's who are firends and bounce ideas off each ohter happily but would not want to live together. The two personalities do not mesh right in completion.
So, you can recover with some time off, but not 3-4 years worth. Try 3-4 months. Then slowly go out and explore. Distinguish between pure passion and a meshing of personalites, and for a life mate, try for the latter and not the former.
Note, meshing can be of two basic kinds-- where skills and strengths complement, or where they are in common. Best actually ends up being a blend of the two. Two artists who are musicians in different genre or subgenre might actually enhance each other and get along very well. Two doctors who have different specialities might also.
Two doctors in exact same specialty, if they are forefront leaders, probably will compete too much or one will sacrifice for the more dominant of the two.
Let's say you want someone in the music field as a lifemate, and I would not "settle" on that too soon or firmly, as you might find someone in Public Relations would be ideal as gig manager\promoter and lifemate. PR folks tend to be people folks if not ad sellers totally.
That is my dime's worth, relax, we all have failures(in fact without them we would never ID our ideals in a mate in the first place), and usually no one of the two is to totally be blamed, it is both not meshing TOGETHER that causes the real end blow of a breakup. Look for someone who most of the time makes sense to YOU, whose requests are mostly REASONABLE to you when explained. Do not look for a twin to yourself, twins compete a lot. Look for ablend of fittign together and mutual respect, neither to totality. Part of the fun of a good relationship is dynamics and some spontenatity.
Hang in, chill out for a while but not a huge long time, then go back out a bit more careful about how deep you probe how fast. SHARE with each other, don't push for info beyond what is shared. IF not enough is shared, move on as gently as you can.
Idea is, "I need to know enough about you to trust you completely as possible, and you the same-- but I respect you enough for you to choose the time to tell me things, and I hope for same from you." Fulfill that hope both ways, relationship will endure."

Indie rock! You're my most favourite type of
music... Your music channels lots of emotion.
On the top it seems simple, but underneath
there's always a deep meaning... As your name
you're independent from most of music! Stay
that way! Good on you! There's so much
variation in your style...from deep and
thoughtful like The Stills, to happy go lucky
like Belle & Sebastian, to dancy and catchy
Franz Ferdinand, and back to boogie down Hot
Hot Heat and The Rapture... What genre of rock are you? brought to you by Quizilla

|best day in along time
Had Sushi with Stacy and Julio, saw Eternal Sunshine Of The Spottless Mind with Matt and Stacy, and just finsihed configuring the network with our new router. Might head downtown now to help Ryan with his new dvd burner, but I kinda wanna stick around here and play around with our new network. My room is a mess of computer skeletons and cat5 scraps right now and I love it. So nice to actually have a day of no work or school, and what a gorgeous day it was. Been writing like crazy the past couple days, I've got three songs almost ready and I talked to Ryan's man at the studio about some rates and it's looking like this ep is gonna cost me alot less than I was expecting.
Hooray for life! Current Mood: accomplished

Just added Lost In Translation and Style Wars to my ever-growing collection. The first disc of Style Wars is awesome, the second disc is ok, but kinda hokey. The graf reminds me of the second chapter in the evolving legend of Jerome. I'll keep this one short. Acetone impresses Defy's GF with his amazing can handling skillz and Grin seems to have fallen the way of CAP? DEFEND YOURSELF GRIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, dude, if Jerm tells you about this I would really like to wash both of our hands of the bullshit that happened and be cool again. Fuck tha trends, Krylon 4ever. Current Mood: blah

|The Legend of Jerome
Grin told Defy to bring it. Defy made excuses for weeks about the new "task force", and how he couldn't find paint anywhere. He FINALLY brought it, but he should have stayed home. Grin brought it back, Defy went and cried in his car. Defy started smokin rock and was getting REALLY behind on the backups, couldn't work the board for shit, it was really sad. Defy listens to alot of Justin Timberlake these days and still can't paint. Most of those KOK kids are pretty good, guess Defy is just hanging on his crew's skill.
Actually, my man owns it every spot, and he's not afraid of fire. Current Mood: content
